Since Jalgaon is the district headquarters, high-level visits by the Hon’ble President, Prime Minister, Governor, Chief Minister, Guardian Minister, and senior bureaucrats require the Tehsildar of Jalgaon to be present alongside the District Collector and Sub-Divisional Officer. As a result, 30–35% of the office’s time is typically consumed in such protocol-related duties.

Conclusion:
Due to the huge administrative workload and rapid urban-industrial expansion driven by increasing population, Jalgaon Tehsil Office is under tremendous pressure. The existing staff strength is insufficient to handle the growing workload. Hence, there is an urgent need to establish an additional office of the Deputy Tehsildar (Apar Tehsildar) in Jalgaon Taluka.
Such an office would streamline planning and development activities, improve administrative efficiency, and strengthen the current Tehsil office. Moreover, if this new office is approved, the Urban Supply Department could be brought under its jurisdiction, thereby eliminating the need for a separate Food Distribution Officer (FDO) for Jalgaon city.
