Government undertakes irrigation projects with a view to increase irrigation projects with view to increase irrigation facility to farmers and to controls floods. The people residing within the area of dam are shifted to some other places. They are known as Projected Affected People(P.A.P.). The P.A.P.'s are given compensation for the land acquired for the project. They are given compensating land for personal cultivation. All the work concerned with this resettlement of the PAPs is done by this branch. |
